WebWizDirect is a FileMaker database application distributed by 2Geckos consulting
When we build your database files into a runtime database solution, our Developer Utilities create a new Mac OS X or Windows solution folder and place the runtime application, the database files, and an Extensions folder inside it
For Windows runtime solutions there are also required Dynamic Link Library (DLL) files

WebWizDirect will run from the USB drive included in your order
The contents of the USB drive may also be copied to your local or network hard drive for better performance and backup.
Only one user can run WebWizDirect over a network at a time
For multiple users you will require copies of FileMaker Pro installed on the machines.
For optimal performance, you can host WebWizDirect using FileMaker Server.

FileMaker Pro 9 databases use the same file format (.fp7) as FileMaker Pro 8 and FileMaker Pro 7, therefore databases can easily be shared between these three versions
Features specific to the newer versions, are only supported in the newer versions (e.g
The new External SQL Data Source feature, introduced with FileMaker Pro 9, is only supported by FileMaker Pro 9
)
|
|
|
Networking: TCP/IP: limited to nine simultaneous FileMaker client connections; each client requires a licensed copy of the software; See FileMaker Server 9 for increased capacity.
