WebWizDirect is software for editing and constructing multimedia articles and publishing them to the web using RSS Feeds.

You can publish RSS articles in one step to create webpages, photo galleries, tickers, calendars, shopping carts, etc..

WebWizDirect generates all needed files and then uploads them to your website.

WebWizDirect works with your site design. Configure an HTML template to match your exact site and the user-friendly interface allows you to change your articles layout on-the-fly with predefined templates.
 

A. Identify web site


WebWizDirect licensing requires the URL that will be published to Each Customer ID may be associated with only one URL.
Version information and maximum number of Feeds are updates each time you start WebWizDirect.

B. FTP publishing information


Typically the FTP directory will be www/{domainname}/ww2g
Typically the FTP path is public_html/ww2g

The folder ww2g is required.

C. Organization information


This information is used to identify the author of the RSS Feeds, address for driving directions, and signature files.
The Organization Logo is used in the description at the top of each Feed.

E. Define RSS News Feeds


This screen allows you to add new RSS Feeds and options such as web tickers.
The Abbreviation is used as a prefix to files associated with this Feed
Root Filename is the name of the PHP web page and RSS Feed
The Ticker check box allows creation of an auxiliary Feed formatted for web tickers.
The description is included at the top of the Feed and may be HTML code.

H. Publish PHP web templates


There are many ways to use RSS Feeds on your website, the most popular method uses PHP scripts from FeedForAll called RSS2HTML and are created and published automatically by WebWizDirect.
RSS2HTML is a PHP solution from Feedforall and provides a flexible solution which can be used to automatically display RSS feeds on your Web site The resulting webpage will always show the feeds most current data The advantage of using this script is that the resulting Web pages contents will always be up to date, and can be easily indexed by search engines.

F. Add records


Each Feed is made up of blocks of articles, which the user can sort by Title, date, category, or ranking
The articles Description may be in plain text or HTML with links to external graphics.
Each article may contain a scaled image or a file such as EXE, ZIP, PDF, or other file for download from the website.
Other fields include link another webpage, contact name, phone, fax, e-mail as well as room for alternate contact information.





G. Publish RSS Feed


Any graphics or other media associated with each item are published only if needed, if the item was previously uploaded to the Web Site the media will be skipped to minimize file transfer time.
